A Summer Engineering Camp for High School Girls
June 29th to July 3rd 2020
W.I.S.E Summer Engineering Camp is an interactive camp for girls that explores the three disciplines of Electrical, Computer and Mechanical engineering, and the unique integration of art. This camp is run by student members of W.I.S.E.
This program is designed to help grow interest in the STEM field, improve self-confidence, and develop leadership skills and lasting friendships. The projects designed incorporate the use of modern engineering tools related to the three engineering disciplines while also creating unique and artistic pieces. Former W.I.S.E alumni and mentors are also invited on a panel to share their experiences and advice as female engineers in the professional world.
Our camp was also covered in article published in the HV Manufacturing Magazine, the council of orgs magazine, spring 2017 issue. To read the article visit: https://goo.gl/pQeDaP
